ABOUT THE ARTIST
“Early memories of tracking pheasants in the snows of the family farm in Illinois and birding with his grandfather on his California ranch gave Steele Roberts-Ross an excellent foundation in understanding the birds he would later capture on canvas.
His formal studies included Wildlife Science at Oregon State University and he also trained under the famed Willamette Valley artist, Jon Jonsik.
These studies added a formidable artistic skill set to Steele's natural talent. It's no wonder that his work can be found in private collections all over the country.”
