"The engineers that planned and laid out the Skibbereen to Schull Railway, which operated from 1886 to 1947, have left behind an iconic twelve-arch railway bridge at Ballydehob. It is quite a beautiful edifice and can be accessed by the public as part of a healthy and refreshing walk along the salty coast of West Cork. On a calm evening with a high tide and with the added luck of a full moon in the background, the bridge exudes a captivating charm."
