"Sandy Eastoak was raised by trees in New England, learned from the woodlands of Ohio and Douglas fir forests of Oregon, and continues to study in the redwoods of California. Her work is a dance of world renewal, seeking to make visible the threads of love and power that connect us to all beings and heal our ecology and psyches. Her work appeared in 50 solo and 120 group shows in the Northwest, Northeast, and Southwest, and is represented in public and private collections in 25 states and 20 countries. She was a founding member of Sebastopol Gallery in Sebastopol, California, and the editor/illustrator of 'Dharma Family Treasures: Sharing Buddhism with Children' (North Atlantic, Berkeley, 1994). She illustrated seven poetry chapbooks, including six of her own poems."
