Original Vintage JOE RENO, Seattle Artist Signed Impressionist Painting, 24" x 18"
Born in 1943 in Seattle Washington, Joe Reno,(1943-), as a young artist worked in the mailroom at The Museum of Modern Art in New York City and took night classes at the Art Students League. Reno has been a life-long resident of Seattle, with a home in the Ballard neighborhood.
Acquired directly from Joe Reno on a visit to his studio in winter, 1983. Signed in the lower right corner, in paint.
He spends nearly all his time at painting, sometimes producing dozens of paintings a week and other times taking months to finish one.
"When you're painting," Reno has said, "it's a state of Ecstasy-like peanut butter."
