Original 2008 Photograph of Mexican-U.S. Border: From Juarez to El Paso 2/10
This photograph is from a more innocent time, though just 17 years ago. It shows a view
of Juarez, Mexico as seen though a border fence from El Paso, Texas. It measures 18 x 12 inches sight in a 24 x 20 inch archival mat. It is signed on the verso, which I cannot show without removing it from the mat. Brad Boca is an American photographer based in Oakland, at least he was when he took this photo.
It is beautifully printed archival pigment print, which is described on the internet as
" a high-resolution, museum-quality print that uses pigment-based ink to create artwork that is designed to last. Pigment-based inks are made from finely ground powders suspended in a liquid, making them water-resistant and quick-drying. The crystalline structure of the pigments gives the ink its color-fast properties."
