Artist Biography: Lu Hong is a contemporary Chinese American artist, born in Qin Huang Dao, a coastal city of Northern China. After graduating high school, he attended one of the most prestigious art schools in China, Central Academy of Design and Art. However, he was expelled by the authorities next year because of his political and academic dissident. He moved to the United States, and reportedly has been working in Los Angeles, California since 1985.
After his works were introduced by Segal Fine Art at New York Art Expo. and Los Angeles Art Expo. in 1987, Lu Hong became one of the most acclaimed Chinese artists throughout the world.
