Plate signed by the artist, Michel Delacroix. This is an open edition lithograph.
Delacroix is a renowned French artist who works primarily in a primitive style. Known mostly for his busy Parisian street scenes that capture the bustling activity and distinctive architecture of the city, the artist also paints more tranquil scenes of the French countryside. (see below)

The work is framed in a wood frame with two beveled mats – the outer mat in blue/gray and the inner mat in white – under glass.
The print, frame, and glass are in good previously owned condition.
Ready to hang with hanging wire attached and with paper backing.

ABOUT MICHEL DELACROIX
“Born in 1933, Delacroix began painting at a young age. He eventually went to art school and after experimenting with different styles, began to develop a unique primitive naive style reminiscent of folk art. During the late 1970s he began working in print making and his artwork was published and sold throughout the world. In the US, Michel Delacroix has enjoyed immense success, selling out numerous editions and printing several books on his artwork. The artist has had numerous one man shows around the world and was commissioned to do the official painting of the 1996 Olympics.”
