I’m moving out, and my bedroom in our 3BR/1.5BA, 2-level stand alone house is available starting in March! The room has tons of space including for a queen sized bed, desk, and loads of closet storage, and there's warm natural lighting with an avocado tree (free avocados anyone?) right outside the window.
The house has a well stocked kitchen with lots of counter space, washer and dryer in-unit, a spacious living room, an unused office downstairs, and a massive garage for storage (but no street access to the garage for cars). The bathroom upstairs is a full bathroom with a shower and bathtub, while the bathroom downstairs is a half. We also have a front patio with lawn chairs and a fire pit for relaxing and cozying up outside.
The location (64 Landers St) is my favorite part about the house. Located on a quiet residential tree-lined street, we’re just steps away from Whole Foods, Safeway, the Castro, Muni, and the shops and restaurants along Church and Market streets. With a 99 walk score, it’s only a few blocks from Dolores Park, Bart, and all of the shops and restaurants on Valencia (Tartine, Burma Love, and Bi-rite to name a few). It’s also right in the center of the city and next to the highway, so it makes getting anywhere from SOMA to Hayes to Golden Gate Park super convenient and quick.
Our WFH setup is incredibly smooth with gigabit internet and ample work space both in your room and in the unused office downstairs.
To introduce the roommates, Jimmy is a software engineer, and Aditya is working on his own health startup. They’re both very flexible and understanding of each others’ needs and promote open and honest communication. They look forward to extending that to their new roommate!
Utilities typically $50-$75 a month, and internet is $36 a month. The lease would be month to month, but we are looking for someone to stay longer term (probably at least a year). I’m happy to leave the queen-size IKEA Malm bedframe and mattress. The security deposit is $1600.
Here’s a video showing an aerial view of the house and surrounding neighborhood:
