Can be rented furnished (see photos) or unfurnished (same price).
Basics:
* $3999 per month. Water, garbage, HOA fees ($1100+) are included in the rent. Renter pays electricity+gas+internet and HOA move-in/out fees. Security deposit: 1.5mo rent ($5998.50).
* Parking spot. Officially "compact" but actually larger because it's right next to a column; I've fit full-size SUVs in it.
* Includes small storage unit in the garage (fits a few large suitcases).
* Garbage chute and recycling bin on the same floor.
* In-sink-erator food waste disposer.
* Gas stove.
* Air conditioning and heating in the wall.
* Super quiet and no mosquitos.
* Bedroom has extra soundproofing (additional window on top of original window) and black-out curtains.
* Wall-mounted lamps in the living room, for tons of light in the evening (in addition to the tons of natural light you get during the day).
* Washer/dryer and dishwasher have recently gotten full maintenance.
* High speed 1Gbps internet available.
* Large closet at the front entrance, and a built-in closet in the bedroom.
* Huge balcony.
* Central location makes it easy to get around with metro, bus, uber/lyft/waymo (autonomous!), electric citibike, ferry, and rented cars.
If you want it furnished:
* Bedroom has full-size bed and 1 standing desk.
* Living room has queen-size murphy bed and another 2 standing desks. Can be set up with dividing curtain, so you have a shared area and another semi-bedroom (shown in the photos).
* 3 standing desks total, and really fancy ergonomic desk chairs.
* Fully decked-out kitchen: fridge, freezer (with ice-maker), dishwasher, oven, microwave. And lots of cupboards / storage.
* Additional free-standing closet in the bedroom, various additional storage cupboards, and additional storage chest on balcony.
* Wireless internet throughout the apartment.
Big door (with bug screen) leads to a huge balcony, which looks out over the communal rooftop, with plenty of trees, making it feel like you're in a park. The unit is on the 6th floor, which isn't so crazy high that elevator rides take an eternity, but still gives you a bit of a view.
It's in The Metropolitan, which is a luxury building with 24/7 staffing, full indoor spa (pool, hot tub, two saunas), package rooms, movie theater, business center (with printers and scanners), conference/activity room, rooftop garden + sitting area (with bbq). E-bike rental right in front.
The gym is worth mentioning separately, since it's actually really big, and not just one of those tiny condo gyms to check a box. It has a Smith machine, barbells and dumbbells of all sorts, rowing machine, various cable machines, lots of cardio machines, yoga area (including all sorts of mats, rollers, kettlebells, bands, and more), assisted pull-up machine, and various leg/chest/shoulder machines. If you particularly care about this I'd be happy to show you around, but it really is a great perk.
It's close to BART and Caltrain, the central bus station, freeways, and lots of tech and finance offices. Oracle Park and Chase Center are super close. The biking infrastructure around this apartment is probably the best in the whole Bay Area; and there's an (e-)bike rental station right in front. You can easily get groceries delivered, and there is a grocery store a 5 minute walk away, and regular farmer's markets (eg at the Ferry Building, on the water) are a 10 minute walk. Nearby there's a little park with sports (soccer, pickleball, chess, outdoor gym), a beer garden and food trucks, and all sorts of events (outdoor movie screenings, comedy, glass blowing, dance classes). The Salesforce Park is also close by, which has lots of entertainment (yoga, workout classes, dance, family events, art/music/writing/dj/drums/guitar workshops, etc). There's tons of restaurants nearby in all directions. If you're into running, you'd love running by the water on the Embarcadero (either direction is beautiful).
Pets are fine as far as I'm concerned. The HOA has some rules though, so please contact me for details (size restrictions, fees/deposits, that sort of stuff).
This unit is a rental unit subject to the San Francisco Rent Ordinance, which limits evictions without just cause, and which states that any waiver by a tenant of their rights under the Rent Ordinance is void as contrary to public policy.
