I’m selling my 5x8 single-axle trailer (Tractor Supply “Carry-On” model), about 6 months old and in great condition, currently registered and ready to roll.
Above it, I’ve built a custom toy hauler conversion with a sleeping loft — designed to haul your gear, quad, motorcycles, bikes, or even a small boat underneath, while giving you a sheltered sleeping area above. It’s roughly 95% complete and just needs finishing touches (joint compound, paint, and trim) to look professional. To the right person with some basic construction experience, it’s an easy weekend project to finish.
🪚 Build Details:
Approximately $800 in high-quality plywood and lumber (not cheap pine — cabinet-grade wood, about $80/sheet)
Spent weeks of work building it
Ramp gate folds down for easy loading — fits a full-size quad or motorcycle
The sleeping loft is accessible from underneath and could be closed off or fitted with a door for privacy
Could be easily sealed with a few tarps and a staple gun for waterproofing or insulation
