This position is responsible for performing residential/commercial sprinkler inspections/repairs including testing, recording and generating results, and providing reports. Duties include assisting both the Lead Inspector as well as the ability to work alone.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure that all inspections are completed on a timely basis and that inspections are done accurately and thoroughly.
Testing of all building sprinkler control panels, devices, and functions of the sprinkler system.
Reliable transportation to and from the office or job site.
Must be punctual.
Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills and be customer service oriented.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Education/Qualification:
Pipe Fitting knowlege is desired.
High School diploma or equivalent is acceptable with acceptable experience.
Not required but desired a person with background with NFPA 25 and inspecting fire sprinkler/standpipe systems, fire pumps and hydrants.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Industrial, Commercial. Residential building environment with moderate to high noise levels, and comfort with working at heights
Mostly a physically demanding role.
May need to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
Must have a valid CA Drivers License.
