A timeless classic and workhorse machine.
I've used it for sharpening tools, outside cylinder grinding, surface grinding, and occasionally precision abrasive cutoff work over the years.
I used it for planer knives that were 25" long, so it's got quite a lot of travel.
The ball-bearing ways make for an exceptionally smooth and easy machine to run.
The 1HP grinder head runs very quiet and smoothly.
One-shot lubrication is working fine.
Duplicate handwheels and on/off controls allow the operator to run the machine from the most comfortable position.
Comes with spare belts, a wheel holder, and a magnetic chuck.
Come see it under power.
Weight is just a bit over a ton.
I'd absolutely keep the machine, but sadly I lost my lease as they are tearing down the building.
These have been in production for well over a half century and you can still buy a new one.
