This is a modified/upgraded K-Line K3270-5343S New York Central J1e Hudson & Tender.
The converstion includes a fabricated fitment of an MTH chassis and Pittman motor. This means the electronics have to be in the tender, which must be connected for the train to run. Anyone who knows this model is aware that K-line massively underpowered this loco with a very wimpy motor, but the model was still popular at the time due to the high level of detail on the shell. This solves that problem and ads fan driven chuff smoke to boot! The only comprimise is the loss of the cab light due to fitment issues. It also has an upgraded coal load in the tender!
The electronics are TMCC with an ERR Comander M control board and RL4C radio board. Also, this loco is equiped with Gunnrunner Johns Cuff Generator and Super Chuffer electronics for smoke chuff performance. This is quite the looker! Robust smoke output and excellent detail. The Chuff does quiet down when decelerating and can get lost a very high speed. There is nothing wrong with this as its normal to the chuff electronics.
I'm selling off my entire train collection or I wouldn't even consider parting with this. I have about $1500 into the the whole project which I don't expect in a sale, but the price is higher than a stock unit for a good reason. Check the video!
