This studio is definitely small, but is ideal for someone who doesn’t have a lot of stuff with them. The ideal tenant is someone who is in the Santa Cruz area for a short time for work or school, who is a traveling healthcare worker or similar, whose house is under construction and they just need a place for a short time, or someone who is moving to Santa Cruz and needs a temporary place until permanent housing is found. Leases are for three to six months only.
Landlords live on the property in the main house.

The studio has a Coddle sofa (like a futon) that easily converts into a bed. It also includes a 32” TV with Xfinity cable and WiFi. The high ceiling makes the studio look and feel larger and it has a ceiling fan and light.
The studio is also furnished with a dresser, storage cubes, and artwork.
The kitchenette has a four-burner electric stove and oven, sink with garbage disposal, and apartment-size refrigerator. It also includes essentials for basic cooking (pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc), as well as a toaster oven and coffee maker. The bathroom has a stand-up shower stall, sink, toilet, and a sun tunnel for excellent day-time lighting.
The front patio has a bistro set for enjoying your morning coffee and the back patio has a dining table and chairs. There is a storage shed available for a small amount of stuff. The studio is located on a cul-de-sac and has safe and well lit on-street parking. The location is very quiet and safe with very friendly neighbors.
The studio is a walkable 6 blocks to the ocean. Great location with access to Pleasure Point surf, beaches, surf shops, Coffeetopia, recently rehabbed 41st Ave & Portola Dr., Trader Joe’s, freeway, etc.
WiFi, cable, water, and garbage are included. Gas and electric payable by tenant with separate meter. PGE averages around $35 per month.
