“Leupold designed the matte black 6.5-20×50 Mark 4 ER/T M5 Side Focus Riflescope for extended range tactical applications and outfitted it to withstand the toughest of conditions, carrying out the most demanding tasks. The optical system was engineered to provide superior performance and features Xtended Twilight Lens System with fully multi-coated lenses for improved image brightness and true color in low light. Additionally, ion-assisted DiamondCoat 2 lens coating protect against debris and abrasions, and blackened-edge optical elements reduce stray light from glare, improving image contrast. To compensate for challenging lighting conditions and to extend effectiveness at twilight, this riflescope offers a wide 50mm objective aperture. All optical elements are also made of eco-friendly, lead-free optical glass. The 1st focal plane Mil-Dot reticle is defined by four bold posts and a crosshair with evenly spaced beads.
Complementing the advanced optical system, this riflescope also features a solid and precise opto-mechanical construction. The housing is made from aluminum and features a 30mm single-piece maintube purged with argon-krypton for a water and fogproof performance, a fast focus lockable eyepiece, and a slip-free texturing on low-profile M5 BDC turrets and other adjustment rings. The M5 BDC turrets feature precision graduations and allow 0.1 mil per click adjustment values for both windage and elevation, providing a total range of 80 MOA. Also noteworthy is the 3x twin bias spring erector system that provides more holding force to withstand recoil. To protect the optics during transport, this optic includes two flip-up lens caps.”
