Hello!
We are a professional couple looking for a quiet studio, guest house, ADU, or small cottage in the Santa Cruz, Aptos, Soquel, Capitola, Scotts Valley, or Watsonville area for about one year.
I am a medical oncologist, writer, and painter, and my partner works for Tesla. We plan to relocate to Texas next year, so we’re looking for a comfortable place to call home during this next chapter.
We are quiet, clean, financially responsible, and respectful of our neighbors and the homes we live in. Our family includes one gentle, well-trained medium-sized Labradoodle and two friendly, well-behaved cats. They are calm, house-trained, and an important part of our lives.
One of our favorite hobbies is growing unusual and cold-hardy fruit plants. If your property has a garden, we’d be delighted to help care for it or even introduce a few interesting fruit varieties. We genuinely enjoy improving the places we live and always strive to leave them better than we found them.
We’re looking for a long-term, stable arrangement with fixed rent for the duration of our stay. We can provide excellent references and would be happy to meet in person to see if we’re a good fit.
