I'm sadly for me hopefully happy for you finally offering up my 1961 International Harvester truck converted into a tiny home. I bought it a few years ago planning to live in it but never did, and it has just been sitting in a meadow all that time. It was in decent running condition when I got it and made a several hundred mile trip to where it's parked now, but after sitting for so long it isn't in the same shape, and I can't guarantee its condition because I haven't been able to find a mechanic who will work on it. I realized it really should be with someone more mechanical than me and hopefully a harvester fan. It has a (what was new when I got it and has never been used) solar system with an inverter and batteries, a rooftop deck, a working shower, a working kitchen and fridge, wood floors, custom woodwork, and more as you can see from the photos. This truck has a long history and has been pieced together a lot over the years by people who luckily kept decent records. It has a 1977 RV engine in it with apparently low mileage, but I don't know the mileage for sure. It has plenty of power but gets truly terrible gas mileage (12 mpg or so). It also has an automatic transmission installed. I typed up what I could translate of a list of all the parts that was written on an old piece of paper, but please forgive me if I messed anything up as I don't speak mechanic language. I'm really not even sure what mechanical shape it's in now... it runs... and I had some work done on it, but I'm not confident in the brakes right now and wouldn't feel right selling it to someone without mechanical skills to ensure it's safety, and I would suggest towing it out just to be safe. So this is a mechanic's special but also an extremely rare one of a kind frankensteined together fully functional tiny home with tons of potential. I hope I can find someone to give it a good next chapter of its long and storied life. These are recent photos. I'm open to offers. It is currently registered and insured.
Thank you. 🙏🛻
