The Room:
Private, unfurnished back bedroom with a shared hallway bathroom (also used as the guest bathroom). It is available Dec 1 (or later) for a 6-month lease with the option to extend if we are a good fit. The house is close to campus, and would be an ideal set up for a UCSC grad student or lecturer/adjunct. Seeking one person only, and pets are considered on a case-by-case basis.
About the Home:
Spacious living room, full kitchen, dining area, laundry, and large deck/backyard. There is a two-car garage with storage and a driveway with off street packing. It is on a quiet street with friendly neighbors, and a few young families on the block. It is a dog friendly property with a fully fenced backyard!
Rent for the room is $2050 per month and utilities are split evenly. Average monthly utilities range from $450-650 per month total (more in winter when using heat, less in summer).
About Me:
I’m in my late 30s, work from home full-time, and value a clean, calm, and well-kept space. I enjoy cooking, gardening, time in nature, and living life in Santa Cruz! I am a musician, travel regularly for work (and fun!), and grew up in the area.
