We are seeking one to two housemates to join our home (which we are moving into on November 1st). It's a tight timeline because we are ideally seeking folks that can move in November 1st, but we are flexible for the right people. Details below:
The House
We are renting a large victorian home downtown (lincoln and washington). Nice front porch, great kitchen, decent-sized living room, big backyard (potential to add a hot tub), and three bathrooms. The rooms aren't the biggest of rooms (they all should fit a full or queen sized bed though), and three of the four have closets. Pets are a maybe. We have one cat already.
Lease and Rent
It would be a one year lease. Rent is roughly $5,000 total per month, so if it's three of us it would be roughly $1670 per room, depending on which room you live in. If it's four of us it would be closer to $1250 per room. Utilities are not included that, but estimate around $200 per person per month for everything (internet, trash, water, gas, and house supplies like toilet paper/soap/sponges etc.)
The Vibe:
We (the two of us who live here) are friends with each other so the house is pretty social and warm. We like to interact with our housemates, but also have our own lives. We also like to keep our home VERY clean and organized (e.g. we don't leave our stuff out in common space, do our dishes immediately, wipe down the counters after cooking, etc.) We like to have dance parties, but for the most part tend to go to bed around 10:30pm and get up around 7:30am. We're in our mid thirties and fully employed.
