Hi! Our Queer Co op in Santa Cruz has three available rooms for rent in December, two singles and one double (double is looking for one person). Turing house is a beautiful house by the base of the UCSC campus. We are a queer/trans undergraduate housing community looking to create an inclusive space together. The property includes a large beautiful backyard, a bike shed, washer and dryer, large living room, multiple balconies, spacious kitchen with multiple fridges, and a great view of a large meadow just beyond the yard. The room itself comes furnished with a twin bed frame, a mattress, a desk, chair, and some drawers. The closet is large. The deposit is the first month's rent, and the rent for the double is $1,010 including utilities (goes down if you pay food dues with ebt) and the singles are $1,333 including food dues and utilities. About your roommate! Hi my name is Sheima, and I am the other tenant in the large double. I am a fourth year student at UCSC and have a princess cat. I love to read, spend time with my friends, dance, go to shows, and generally just vibe. I am pretty busy, so I do spend a lot of time out of the house. I love getting to know all my housemates and am excited to get to know you as well. I am pretty low maintenance and am very flexible to others lifestyles. Please feel free to ask any personal questions you may have as well!
