We are looking to rent one beautiful bedroom in our three bedroom, 1 bath flat, available December 1st (or possibly sooner). This is a shared flat, with rooms rented individually on a month-to-month basis.
Each of the rooms in the unit has its own private entrance onto a shared deck with spectacular views of upper UCSC, Pogonip, downtown Santa Cruz, and the Monterey Bay. The unit has a small, full kitchen and a newly remodeled bathroom complete with a double sink, shower and bath, and washer/dryer. The current occupants are clean, community minded and respectful of common spaces.
The property is shared with the owners (my husband and I) who live in the main house with our two children, two tuxedo cats and 15 year old lab mix. We are not looking to add other pets to the mix at this time.
We have a sweet, safe, unique location. Although it feels like country living, we are less than 5 minutes to Santa Cruz. We are located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac through a manual, private gate. In just a few minutes by car you can be downtown, and it's just 1/2 a mile to Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, great for trail runs, hikes and mountain biking.
The house sits on 1/2 an acre, complete with veggie gardens, fruit and shade trees, and tenant parking in the yard. There is some extra storage available for bikes, etc. in an outdoor shed.
Rent is $1400/mo and includes all utilities. The lease is month to month. Deposit is equal to one month's rent. Single occupancy only.
(Utilities include high-speed internet, PG&E, water, green waste and trash pick up).
