The AMPEG PF Series bass amps are arguably the best sounding bass amps available. I have both this PF-500 and a PF-800 and I've not been able to find anything that I wish I had. My bandmates agree that the amp sounds better than they've heard. Selling this one because since I got the PF-800 I'm just not using it much anymore. This amp head has always been stored and moved back and forth to gigs inside the Ampeg Portaflex cabinets that offer complete protection.
