Invest in your child’s first violin instead of paying high rental fees for a low quality (screechy) sounding instrument.
As your child learns to “Twinkle Away” and play the first song in the Suzuki curriculum, you’ll be saving money within the first year when you buy this violin. And you’ll definitely appreciate listening to the tone quality of this instrument as they practice!
The violin, which is made by Suzuki, is in excellent condition (almost mint) and has tape marks on the finger board and bow to help guide the student. The case has a few scuffs, but no damage. New D, A, & E strings are included.
Suzuki violins have a full, clear sound, so the student can produce a better quality sound immediately. This Suzuki violin has a spruce top and maple back, a maple neck, an ebony fingerboard and pegs.
The label reads:
Kamimoto String Instr.
Oakland, CA Masakichi
Suzuki 220 for 1/16 - 25573
My husband is a professional violinist and picked this instrument. He is quite discerning so you can rest assured, that it’s definitely NOT a VSO! (violin shaped object that sounds horrible)
This super cute 1/16 size violin was my child’s first violin and holds so much sentimentality for me. It was a 3rd birthday gift and my child played on it until age 6. Continuing to excel at violin, my child became a member of the California Youth Symphony Senior Orchestra in high school. Whoever gets this violin will know that with practice, a good teacher, and a good instrument from the start, it's possible to attain a high level of musicianship!
