**APPLY IN PERSON-DO NOT CALL THE BUSINESS PLEASE** - Aptos Landscape Supply, a leading supplier of landscape and building materials in Santa Cruz County, is seeking ENTRY LEVEL YARD STAFF.
Candidates will be responsible for providing a high level of service to our customers in a safe, prompt, professional and effective manner.
Yard Staff daily duties will include: Directing customers to merchandise in the yard and loading them accordingly with the proper equipment; building orders and occasionally loading trucks for delivery; stocking materials; keeping the yard, store and warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Applicants MUST be able to SPEAK and WRITE ENGLISH fluently to communicate effectively with customers. Bilingual Spanish a plus! Forklift and loader experience a plus but will train.
Knowledge of landscape and building materials is a plus but not mandatory. Aptos Landscape Supply staff are expected to behave in a professional and personable manner. Applicants must be able to lift 100lbs from the ground into the bed of a standard size pick-up truck safely.
Full-Time positions; Shifts available Mon-Sat between the hours of 7:30am to 4:30pm. Partial Benefits available for both positions.
