Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Manage medical records accurately, including patient histories and treatment plans.
Perform X-ray imaging as required, adhering to safety standards.
Demonstrate knowledge of dental anatomy to assist in patient education and treatment discussions.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft scheduling
Implement aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent contamination.
Ensure the dental clinic is organized, clean, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Skills
Proficient in infection control practices within a dental setting.
Experience with medical records management and familiarity with dental software systems (Eaglesoft).
Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and effectively
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
