Hey there, I have for a sale a Beautiful, One of a Kind Custom King Size Bed Frame. I had this built a while back by a guy down in Venice Beach that specializes in industrial styled pieces built using reclaimed/salvaged and repurposed materials. This piece was built using reclaimed old pine boards and some other salvaged and repurposed materials. The dimensions are 84.5L x 80.5W and the headboard is 44" tall. It is incredibly sturdy. My requests for the order were that I wanted a bed that was beautiful, solid, didn't squeak and would last a lifetime, and he delivered on everything I asked for and more. It's very well constructed, heavy, looks and functions great. The pictures really don't do it justice, the figuring in the wood, particularly in the Headboard really glows in the light. I absolutely love this bed, it has been everything I wanted and more. The only reason I am selling is that I'm downsizing from a King to a Queen Sized bed and don't have room to store it, so really want to pass it on to someone else to enjoy. The bed is generally in very good condition. It's been moved a number of times over the years and incurred some very minor superficial scratches in the process, but nothing that is really noticeable unless you are looking for it. I paid $3500 + tax for the bed. Reluctantly selling for $750 OBO. I need to sell quickly to make room for the new bed.
I also have a beautiful trunk that was built by a different furniture maker. It's a Gorgeous, one-of-a-kind, Custom-made storage trunk/chest with lots of history and interesting stories behind it. It measures 37.5"W x 18.5" D x 17" H. The piece was constructed from Reclaimed Pine that came out of an old horse drawn cart and Stunning Reclaimed Walnut that came out of boards that were previously part of an ornate fireplace front in an old house that was stripped down to the studs during a major renovation. This piece was designed to meld the past and the present, highlighting the rustic charm of the reclaimed pine's history and character with all it knots and nail holes and then refining it with the more modern curves and angles incorporated to bring more focus to the striking grain in the reclaimed walnut. The entire trunk is finished with multiple coats of a high-end hard-wax oil finish that has been buffed to bring out the luster, and the top has several coats of a ceramic finish which provides an additional durable protective layer to the top so that it can be used as a coffee table. The interior is suitable for storage of blankets/linens or pretty much anything else that you wish to store out of sight. Asking $625 for this one of a kind hand-crafted custom beauty.
