Seeking a weekend AM baker and prep cook for a small artisan cafe near the beach in Capitola. Baking experience is preferred, although might be willing to train someone with strong interest/passion.
Shifts are Saturday & Sunday, 6AM-12AM (however more shifts/later shifts could be available for the right person)
We are a small, friendly & inclusive team. Our bagels, pizzas and pastries are small batch and high quality.
Responsibilities include:
-Shaping, boiling & baking off sourdough bagels (approx 5 dozen each day)
-Baking off pre-prepped pastries (scones, cookies, muffins)
-Baking egg frittatas
- Portioning out & prepping pan pizza doughs
-Mixing/prepping our sourdough
-Prepping ingredients for the line (aioli/pickles/sauces etc)
-Dishes (we all help out with this!)
-Helping out on the line once we open at 9AM
Compensation starts at $19/hr + tips
