We are looking for dishwasher to join the wedding/event team at our Buddhist retreat center in the redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains. This is an opportunity to gain experience in the kitchen and catering (our current sous chef started as a dishwasher!). The dishwasher position is available to begin Saturday, July 16th, with an on-site interview before then.

This position is ongoing with a 4 day shift from Thursday to Sunday.
Dishwasher experience preferred but not required. We are happy to train a motivated candidate!
Pema Osel Ling is run by the Vajrayana Foundation, whose mission is to promote the Buddhist ideals of peace and compassion and to preserve Tibetan art and culture. Your work will be supporting positive activity and connecting people to our sacred land.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation a must as we are in the mountains
- Detail oriented
- Ability to take direction well, while also independently motivated
- Capable of performing physically engaging tasks
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs
- Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours
- A team player with strong communication skills
- Ability to handle pressure well
