Rivendell Music Academy is hiring for a private music teacher for one on one lessons (guitar, drums & piano preferred)
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic music teacher to join our team, teaching private one-on-one lessons at our studio in Downtown Felton.
About the Role:
Teach individual lessons tailored to each student’s needs and goals
Instruct in at least two of the following instruments: piano, guitar, or drums
Create a supportive, engaging, and fun learning environment for students of all ages
Follow our teaching methods and curriculum while also bringing your own expertise and creativity
Schedule & Hours:
Flexible scheduling between 1:00–8:00 PM
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and/or Friday preferred
Able to begin teaching 2 days per week immediately, and grow with the job
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year teaching experience required
Bachelor’s degree in Music preferred
Positive, caring, and adaptable teaching style
Must pass background check and fingerprinting (no criminal record)
Eligible to work as a W2 employee
The Ideal Candidate:
You’re a dedicated musician and teacher who loves working with kids and adults alike. You’re patient, encouraging, and know how to make lessons both structured and fun. You enjoy teaching multiple instruments and are excited to help students grow in their musicianship.
