I bought it with 195K miles on it in Feb 2015 but it was not running. I knew it needed a new engine.. did not know it also needed a new transmission. I had the engine, transmission, and catalytic converters (there are 2 on this guy) all replaced at that time.
Current engine and transmission have ~50K miles one them. Regularly maintained since I had them put in.
Total odometer reading is ~245K miles.
Been very reliable and drives great.
Brand new tires - less than 1K miles on them!
Brand new battery in April 2026.
Couple cool features include:
-captain's chair swivel on passenger side only (not on drivers side)
-bike rack on front salvaged from a bus, works great!!
-electric fan in bed compartment run on auxiliary battery that is isolated from the main battery (can't drain main/starter battery)
Surf racks may be compromised, haven't used them in years.. There's so much room inside the van I've always found it easier to just put them inside rather than climb up on the roof.
There's definitely some rust throughout and it does leak some water by the rear doors sometimes, but I know the spot and just put something there to catch it. Hence the low price...
The pictures are about a year old but they tell the rest of the story pretty well.
