Last price drop, going to keep it at this point if it does not sell, did not want to put it in storage but I am not going to just give this car away. Price is firm at 5,600.
2006 Miata Sport package. This car has a factory LSD and factory strut tower brace. Car runs perfect and looks great. I will smog vehicle before sale 100% smog legal. AC, heat, power windows, Locks, mirrors, rear defroster all work. New Key Fob as the originals were pretty worn out (so 3 flip style keys). Have original window sticker and all manuals.
So my wife always wanted a convertible with a manual transmission so this was purchased as a second car in the summer of 2016. Well fast forward to 2020 she is pregnant and we bought a practical (Boring car). Nothing wrong with this car just don't drive it enough, been garaged since we have owned it. We are the second owners; first owner was a middle aged women who put the majority of the miles on the car. This car has been babied and garaged its whole life, not beat!
Paint is a 8.5, there are some stone chips here and there, but for a 2006 this car presents very nice. No door dings that I have found 1 small scratch on the lower front bumper. Paint shines no oxidation, clay bared and waxed last summer.
Tires are near new about 6-7 thousand miles on them, wheels are the one weak point on this car, after years of use they all have some imperfections on each wheel. I have included one picture of when the wheels were Plasti Dipped, this has been removed, just an FYI you can still see small remnants of the dip in the curb rash areas (wheels are awesome from 3-5').
Top is still the factory vinyl top, no tears or unusual wear on it. The spring straps are long gone does not affect function can still be dropped or pulled up at a stop sign. However when dropping the top to make it fit perfectly you need to tuck the fold into the storage area. This can probably be fixed but never bothered us as the top is really nice still. Top does not leak
Seats were reupholstered with Katzkin leather covers a few years back (previous owner had work done have documentation) there are no rips or wear, still look smell and feel new. Carpets have no stains, looks near new for the most part (Floor mats are good as well). Pioneer Apple car play touch screen app radio (has some strange marks on the screen, works fine just trying to be transparent). Has small amp and 4 speakers (doors and bulkhead bracket added).
Weighted shift knob (have the original somewhere if wanted)
Stuff we have added.
Mazdaspeed polished CARB legal intake (original intake was bulky to store so I got rid of it)
Goodwin Roadster sport street single muffler with baffle (no louder than stock) have stock muffler as well
Flyin Miata stage 2 suspension package
-Tokico HTS shocks
-Flyin Miata springs
-Flying Miata sway bars (Front and Rear) (adjustable)
-alingment set to Flyin Miata specs, car tracks straight and rides nice (shocks are fully adjustable)
Factory overflow/pressure tank (this is a must if you have one of these cars) one on the car was fine just was getting discolored. When these fail they can cause the engine to overheat.
service in the last few thousand miles:
XT-M5-q5 synthetic gear lube change done when we got the car this stuff makes cold shifting much nicer.
RedLine synthetic rear end fluid change
NGK Iridium plugs
Cross drilled StopTech rotors and decent pads (all 4 corners forget pad type)
Complete brake fluid flush.
just did an oil change (Mobil 1 Synthetic), and Wix filter (Wix is the go to for some reason according to the forums)
This car leaks no fluids, has always ran 91 octane gas (typically Shell or Chevron).
I will be happy to put this car up on jack stands to show just how clean it is.
