For sale: One of the nicest, most reliable 2002 VW New Beetle 1.8T Turbos you will ever find in California. My Mom bought this car brand new in 2002 and drove it around town for the first 60k miles. When she could no longer drive, I used it to commute for 50k miles, and then we used it to drive the kids to school for a few years. This car has been meticulously maintained throughout the years with over $21,000 invested into maintenance and repairs. It is extremely reliable and drives like a much newer car. This is NOT your typical 23-year-old Beetle with a laundry list of upcoming failures — everything that commonly breaks on the 1.8T has already been fixed properly with OEM or better parts. The seats are more comfortable than my Lexus, and the cabin is spacious to the point that it makes most other cars feel small inside. The car drives fast, straight, and smooth on the highway and you can really feel the power when the turbos kick in. I absolutely love this car but do not have room in the driveway for it anymore :(.
