compensation: $1200 for the week of camp teaching and directing. $500 for editing the film after camp is finished. We provide lunch each camp day, Friday is pizza!

We're looking for a filmmaker to teach and direct a 10-12 minute short narrative film with 15-20 children for our summer camp on a farm. This is a day camp (no sleepover), children are dropped off each morning and picked up in afternoon.

Time- We're holding 4 weeks of camp in summer 2026.
June 8th-12th
June 15th-19th
June 22nd-26th
June 29th-July 3rd

The job is for one week of directing one film with a group of children, Monday- Friday 9:00am-4pm.

The footage you film (video) with children will need to be edited after the week of camp is complete.

Film will screen at local movie theater for our film festival.

We supply all equipment, props and wardrobe. We supply 2-3 PAs(depending on group size), wardrobe specialist and make-up artist.

Filmmaker should have-
Endless Patience with children
Filmmaking skills, both technical and creative
Editing skills. The film will need to edited in profession and timely manner.
Must have completed a narrative film(s) and provide links.
CPR certification
Pass a background check
