**Office/Tech Support - Few Hours with Potential for Permanent Employment**
Seeking an all-around knowledgeable office & tech assistant for a few hours of immediate, flexible work with excellent growth potential as these businesses expand and the owner retires part-time in a few years.

Tasks include general office tasks, updating or managing Google Business Profile, creating social media posts with Canva designs, using AI for content creation, prompting, and automations, content editing, and tasks like moving domains between registrars. Bonus skills: video creation, advanced Canva proficiency, and strong people skills for future sales opportunities and client service support. If time permits in the paid block, you'll help call local businesses to sign up for our new community resource website to support local businesses.
Typically I hire unpaid "interns" who want to be entrepreneurs and benefit from my resources and experience (both which are vast), to work 10 hours or more the first month, and have a with a portfolio of work to take with them, but I've decided to try a different approach for compatible applicants. This unique opportunity starts with a short (often video) meeting followed by a one-hour skills assessment period. Per California labor law, all work time must be compensated if my business benefits from the work during that hour and it isn't just an educational session for you (which very well could be), so you may be paid $18/hour starting from the first hour depending on the results. We'll work together via shared screen, so you must have a reliable laptop/desktop with good internet. Position offers potential advancement to permanent employment and possible % ownership in one of my companies that include small to medium size business marketing, community development, alternative real estate and affiliate marketing. Pay increases after 3 months for the right candidate, possibly sooner.
Aside from this position, income opportunities may be available to you as 1099 contractor for video production, social media management, website design, GoHighLevel tasks, Google Business Profile management, Canva coupon design, and other outsourced projects.
Required:
At least five hours available in two or three time blocks.
Some flexibility in your schedule, could be nights or weekends.
Must be 18+ and located within 20 minutes of Soquel near Santa Cruz, CA, as permanent position includes occasional in-person meetings.
