I’m looking for someone to help me finish a project truck. The goal is to get the body reasonably straight and properly prepped for paint—not a show-quality restoration, but a solid, clean job.
The truck is currently in epoxy primer. Bodywork was started but the project stalled, and there is some rust on the roof from sitting that will need to be addressed before moving forward which I can do.
Ideally, I’m looking for someone who has experience with automotive bodywork and paint preparation, understands the importance of proper prep work, and has a good eye for getting panels straight.
This would be a great opportunity for someone who enjoys side work, likes working on projects, and wants to put their skills to use.
I’m not expecting perfection or high-end craftsmanship.
This is an off-road rig, and I understand there are limitations when doing this type of work in a garage setting. My main goal is to have it looking straight, clean, and ready for paint.
Obviously willing to pay. This would be maybe a twice a week deal. Someone reliable, trustworthy & not a weirdo. If this works out, this could be a long term gig with other vehicles.
Tell me who you are, what your skill set is & availability during the week.
