The infamous No. 5 has 84 characters, and an auto ribbon reverse.
This typewriter has the later upgrades including backspace, lateral paper guides, and a two-color ribbon selector.
It is in good condition. Last used in the 1980’s and in dry storage since then. All the keys are functional.
Packing and shipping at your expense could be arranged.
This typewriter was purchased at a San Francisco pawn shop in 1961; I have owned it since then. It has been well cared for, kept dry and in storage. It may have been owned by a famous writer such as:
Lawrence Ferlinghetti
Allen Ginsburg
Jack Kerouac
I don’t know, but it is possible. Here is your opportunity to own this typewriter potentially previously owned by one of those famous authors.
Take a chance, as this is this is a true relic of bygone eras; a large wide carriage fully functioning manual typewriter.
It can be yours for ONLY $79.
