Rare 1947 Noritake China complete dinner set for 6. This was my mother's, purchased in late 1947 and never used. It's been in storage for over 75 years. Each piece is marked "Noritake China, M designation, Made in Occupied Japan". There are 6 dinner plates, 6 coffee cups with saucers, 6 salad bowls with saucers, 6 soup bowls with saucers, 1 serving platter, 1 serving bowl, 1 gravy boat, 1sugar bowl, 1 creamer. Each piece has an intricate beautiful floral pattern in pastel colors with a gold rims. All pieces match. There are no chips, flaws, blemishes, or fading. All remain in new condition. This is a beautiful set of dishes that would complement any formal setting for dinner. $500
