Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Hospitality & Kitchen Operations Assistant to assist in managing the daily operations of our food & commercial kitchen. This role combines operational service with management coordination, ensuring clients (chefs, caterers, food entrepreneurs) enjoy a seamless experience while maintaining compliance and efficiency. You’ll use The Food Corridor platform to handle scheduling, billing, and compliance, alongside resolving clients’ needs and coordinating facility maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for kitchen clients (chefs, caterers, food startups), addressing inquiries and resolving conflicts.
- Conduct facility tours, onboard new clients, and foster retention through proactive communication.
- Manage daily kitchen scheduling, equipment allocation, and compliance using management software.
- Track leases, invoices, and maintenance requests; ensure health/safety standards are met.
- Coordinate repairs, supply orders, and inspections with vendors.
- Social Media Management, maintain a consistent posting schedule.
Qualifications:
- Required:
1. 2+ years in hospitality, kitchen operations, or food service management.
2. Proficiency with **The Food Corridor** or similar property management tools.
3. Strong verbal/written communication skills for client interactions and professional correspondence.
4. Detail-oriented with experience in admin software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
- Preferred:
- Certification in ServSafe, Food Safety, or Hospitality Management.
- Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and vendor coordination.
- Experience managing social media for a brand or organization.
- Bilingual
