1965 Pearson Triton #503 “Catalyst” has been extensively refitted and set up for liveaboard cruising and offshore passages by James Baldwin (all work done in 2011) of “Atom Voyages” fame who has referred to her as the “Voyager Edition.” Search Pearson Triton Hull 503 on YouTube for a couple of videos.
The boat has current USCG documentation. Original gas inboard engine replaced by 6 HP Tohatsu long-shaft outboard with optional high-thrust prop in a custom designed tilt-up outboard well in the lazarette locker. Engine is raised clear of water for drag-free and snag-free sailing and the original prop aperture filled in. Two portable 3 gal. gas tanks. Motors at 5 knots and gets around 10 MPG.

Bottom is cleaned every 3 weeks in summer and every 4 weeks in winter. Topsides are professionally cleaned twice a month.
Mack sails (2011) are in good condition: 7.62 oz mainsail, battenless, with standard headboard, three reefs, minus 2% roach; 6.77 oz 145% furling genoa, with foam luff and sunbrella cover.
