Avalon 7 speed bike - Next Hybrid
Everything works: brakes, front and rear shocks;tires and tubes are good. Seat is intact.
This is an older bike that was left outside for a year, there is rust on the brake arms, pedal arms, and shocks, you can see in the pictures. The front shock makes a clunking sound when you go over large bumps, I believe because of some rust buildup, it may go away as the bike is ridden.
The shifter is a bit stiff, it works normally but is not super-easy to turn, you need a firm grip. I lubricated the cable in the housing and the rear derailleur and the shifter itself spins easily with no pressure on it, so I think it's the design that was improved in later generations of the bike.
I'm 5'9" and it fits me pretty well, I don't think you'd want to be much taller to ride the bike though. The seat post can be dropped a lot to fit shorter people.
It's priced low because of the rust and shifter stiffness.
