This is a pair of bentwood chairs made by Jacob and Josef Kohn in Austria. Given the maker's mark, they were made prior to 1914. The wood is likely Austrian beech and the seat and back are caned. Please see photos for two small breaks in the caning on the seat back of one of the chairs. The other is in excellent condition. I prefer to sell them together. However, if you only want one, the chair with the break in the caning is $600 and the other is $800.
