This is one of three tires I have from my 2009 Prius Touring. One of the tires got a nail in the sidewall and was not repairable. Unfortunately this model of tire in this size was discontinued so Costco could not replace the bad tire. I had to go with all new tires and there wasn't a single used EP422 Plus in this size available for sale anywhere at the time..not even on ebay. End result is that I had to buy all new tires leaving 3 almost new tires left.
From the same set, I have another tire with the same tread depth but with a patch from a nail hole. It's an interior patch done by Costco, not a plug so it's as good as new. $90.
The third tire has no repairs but tread is 7.5 / 32nd. $80.
