We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all phases of cabinetry and millwork. Proficient with hand tools, power tools and reading/understanding shop drawings/blueprints.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints for cabinet design, Cabnetware and Cabinet Vision.
• Process wood parts for assembly by measuring, cutting, sanding and shaping according to specifications.
• Utilize hand tools for the assembly of cabinets and fixtures.
• Install components in wood cabinets according to instructions.
• Install hardware on cabinets as instructed.
• Collaborate with team members for successful quality completion of projects.
• Ensure quality craftsmanship in all cabinet making tasks.
• Assist with physical tasks such as lifting and moving large cabinets and loading and unloading of material
• Safely load, transport and deliver customer cabinets to finishers and/or jobsite
• Clean and maintain work areas in accordance with safety standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2-5 years of cabinetry and woodworking experience required.
• Proficiency in all phases of cabinetry and millwork.
• Proficient with power tools (ie: table saws, drill press, etc.), setup and maintenance.
• Knowledge of safety protocols.
• Provide references of work experience required.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand all day.
• Ability to infrequently lift up to 80 pounds, bend, twist, squat, kneel and lift (both lateral and overhead)
• Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts produced
• Effectively provide and receive communication
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 6:30a-3:30p. Benefits include vacation, sick and holiday pay. Position is available immediately. Pay is based upon experience.
