We’re seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager. This candidate should have broad knowledge and experience working in a General Contracting company in commercial construction. The Project Manager must possess effective communication skills, be able to collaborate with subordinates and peers as well as representatives of clients to coordinate successful, on-time completion of projects. The Project Manager will work in conjunction with the Project Engineer and Management to write bids, set-up projects, secure contracts and supporting documents, as well as close out projects using company procedures/paperwork/etc. They must know about budget and schedule control and scope development. They will also be responsible for business development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
1. Budget control/fee management
2. Maintain schedule
3. Project and scope development
4. Meet regularly with owners/clients/team members
5. Multiple building department interface
6. Review project billing percentages
7. Review change order scope and pricing
8. Ability to prepare subcontracts, OCO, SCO, RFI, and Submittal
9. Reading and interpretation of construction documents
10. Perform a comprehensive punch-list (goal is zero punch) and project close out.
11. Estimating
12. Project buy-out
13. Subcontractor management
14. Work with Superintendent on schedule
15. Maintain quality control
16. Maintain timely and accurate reporting to management
17. Business development
18. Maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity
19. Development of subordinates
20. Safety
21. Belong to and maintain relationships with professional organizations
22. Other duties as may be assigned.
