We are seeking a Project Coordinator for our Construction Company servicing the Bay Area.
This employee's role is to lead in the remodel of custom kitchens, baths, home additions, and more. You will manage the projects from beginning to end. They will maintain a professional, ethical, and positive attitude with a high level of customer service working with employees, subcontractors as well as homeowners.
Essential Functions:
--Interpret and understand engineering and/or building plans, improvement standards, construction specifications, and city ordinances
--Knowing and understanding blueprints, building plans and specifications
--Understanding of framing floors, walls, roofs and decks
--Understanding of installing windows and exterior doors
--Understanding of cabinetry, millwork and interior doors
--Understanding of installing and connecting appliances
--Understanding of sub-flooring and underlayment
--Understanding of plumbing and electrical
--Clean and inspect work areas
--Oversee all work done in the field
--Support the owner, designer, and in-office staff
--Acquire permits from numerous municipalities. Coordinate inspections, review job sites prior to inspections, and be the on-site inspection contact if needed
Experience
--7+ years’ experience in construction
--Skilled Certifications are a plus but not required
--Site planning experience a plus
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
--Ability to pass a drug screening & background check
--Valid driver’s license
--Reliable transportation with applicable insurance coverage
--Clean driving record
Compensation dependent on qualifications and experience.
