For sale is an RBI brand corded electric-power scroll saw. RBI is also called RB Industries. This is from their Hawk series of scroll saws, model number 220-3. This is an extremely well constructed and sturdy tool, made of heavy-duty metal. This tool was manufactured in the United States (USA). Complete technical details are listed below.
The saw includes an integrated, heavy-duty metal stand. It's possible to remove the four, tall legs of the stand to minimize the space needed for storage. But the legs are a necessary part of the stand and must be installed prior to use.
The entire tool, including the integrated stand, is pretty large, measuring about 20" wide, 32" deep, and 46" tall. The metal tabletop, where your wood piece rests during cutting, measures about 22" deep and 14" wide. The entire tool weighs about 50 pounds!
The saw accept standard pin-less 5" scroll saw blades. This is a bottom-feed scroll saw that involves clamping the blade to the bottom chuck. This has a maximum wood capacity of 20 inches, which refers to the throat clearance from the blade to the back of the arm.
The saw has a powerful Fasco Industries branded 1.8-Amp motor (model number 7195-0108) that operates at three different speed settings. You change the speed setting by moving the motor pully into one of three gears. Picture 23 shows the pully and these three gear settings.
The scroll saw was only used on a few occasions for a few cuts. Given it's extremely limited usage, it's in excellent functional and cosmetic condition. You can feel free to test the device before purchase to confirm that everything works. I will include a single cutting blade to get you started. Additional cutting blades can be purchased cheaply at Home Depot. The original cardboard box and product manual are not included.
