Millers Falls Brand 6.5-Amp Rotary Polisher / Buffer / Grinder Tool - $100 (san jose downtown)

For sale is a professional, heavy-duty electric-corded rotating polishing, buffer, and grinder tool. This is a Millers Falls Tools brand, model 'A', part number 8726. This accepts standard polishing, buffing, and grinding tool accessory pads, which are screwed into the large rotating spindle. While this officially accepts such pads up to 7" in diameter, you can easily attach pads as large at 10" in diameter.
It has a very robust 6.5-amp motor that operates at 2,600 RPM. The motor and spindle are contained in a full metal housing. The tool was made in the U.S.A., specifically in Greenfield, Massachusetts. It's a very heavy tool, weighing about 20 pounds. It's also large at 16" long, 4" wide, and 5" tall. The detachable handle, which can be placed on the left or right-hand sides, adds another 4" to the width. Complete technical details are listed below.
The unit is in excellent functional condition. It works perfectly with no problems. You can feel free to test it before purchase to confirm that it works. Please note that the original electrical plug was replaced after the prongs on the original one broke off (see picture 19).
Cosmetically, it's also in excellent condition. There are some scratches on some exterior surfaces, but these don't affect its performance.
As part of the purchase, you'll get a few compatible polisher and buffer accessory pads. You'll also get a heavy-duty backpack carry case for tool storage and transportation. The backpack carry case is a Wenger brand, Synergy series, model number 27305140.
Please note that the original collet tightening wrench is missing and presumed lost. But you can use a standard 11/16" wrench to loosen and tighten the collet.
You can pick up from my house near the San Jose Airport. Or I would be happy to deliver it to you, if I happen to travel out in your direction.
