Dewalt Brand 20-Inch Variable Speed Electric Scroll Saw - Never Used - $350 (san jose downtown)

For sale is a Dewalt brand electric power scroll saw. This is model number DW788. This is extremely well constructed and sturdy tool, made of heavy-duty metal. It's a very large tool, measuring about 30" long, 20" wide, and 12" tall. The cast-iron tabletop measures about 24" long and 16" wide. The entire tool weighs nearly 60 pounds! If purchased new from Amazon or Home Depot, these go for for about $500 (+ $50 tax)!
This has a maximum capacity of 20 inches, which refers to the throat clearance from the blade to the back of the arm. This has a powerful 1.3-Amp variable speed motor that operates between 400 - 1,750 SPM. This incorporates a double parallel link arm design so that the blade can be easily threaded through the material for inside cuts. You can cut wood with precision using this device.
The scroll saw was purchased new by me about two years ago for a small home improvement project. I immediately removed the saw from the new cardboard box and placed the saw in a storage cabinet in my garage. The empty cardboard box was placed in the rafters of my garage. The home improvement project was first delayed, and then cancelled. As a result, the saw was never used. It has never cut even one piece of wood.
Given that it's never been used, you can consider this saw "like new". I have all of the original accessory items, including the two original and unused blades and the original cardboard box and internal protective packaging inserts. Nothing is missing. Pictures 2 to 23 are of the actual scroll saw for sale, showing it's like new condition.
As part of the purchase, I'll include a set of thirty-six (36) high-quality Olson brand 5" pin-less scroll saw blades. All of these blades are skip tooth blades, which were sold by Olson as part of their skip tooth variety pack, model number FR49400. You'll get twelve (12) skip tooth type 2 blades (model number FR44300), twelve (12) skip tooth type 5 blades (model number FR44600), and twelve (12) skip tooth type 7 blades (model number FR44800). Picture 24 shows these Olson brand blades.
While the saw has never been used and should be considered "like new", there is one small cosmetic issue that I need to report. While the saw was in storage in my garage cabinet, it appears the saw was pushed up against the back wall of the cabinet. In the process, a small 1" square inch portion of the bright yellow surface paint at the back of the saw was etched off. I'm not sure how this happened. But the good news is that this cosmetic issue does NOT harm the structural or functional integrity of the saw. Pictures 21 and 22 shows this cosmetic paint etching issue. The circle with the three black arrows in Picture 22 pinpoints the surface damage. As you can see, it's a pretty small area. But it is noticeable, especially if you are looking directly at it.
