I have owned this for 10+ years, it's a great planer but I have decided to downgrade to save some space. The catalog lists it at 1165 lbs, which is about double the weight of a typical 14" planer. Very nicely made, smooth running, well thought-out design. Everything is cast iron, cast aluminum, or steel, no sheet metal or plastic. Direct drive. Everything works well, except for some slop in the chip-breaker because of a displaced babbitt bearing (last pic).

Made in the 40's. The Crescent machine company was sold off and became Rockwell, and eventually Delta.

3ph, 2hp, wired for 220v. Custom 6" dust hood.

Cash only please. I can help load into your trailer, maybe pickup truck depending on the bed height.
