Up for sale is a Lenovo ThinkPad P50 mobile workstation, a powerhouse laptop built for professionals who need performance, durability, and flexibility.
This machine is in excellent cosmetic condition with only minimal wear, as it was used almost exclusively in an office environment while docked. The photos shown are of the actual unit available.
Inside, it’s powered by an Intel Core i7-6820HQ processor with 4 cores and 8 threads running at 2.7GHz (up to 3.6GHz turbo), paired with 32GB of DDR4 RAM and a fast 512GB NVMe M.2 solid state drive.
The display is a stunning 15.6” 4K UHD IPS panel equipped with a built-in Pantone color sensor, delivering sharp visuals and precise black calibration for graphics, CAD, or creative work. NVIDIA Quadro graphics provide professional-grade performance to match.
All ports and connectivity have been fully tested, including USB-C, multiple USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, Mini DisplayPort, VGA, RJ-45 Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an SD card reader, and the integrated HD webcam.
The P50 is exceptionally rugged, designed with a metal-reinforced chassis and lid, vibration-dampening mounts, and a spill-resistant keyboard with drain holes. Components are modular and damage-resistant, with an easily replaceable backlit keyboard, swappable batteries, and a construction that makes long-term servicing straightforward. The included battery still retains over 80% of its original capacity.
Another advantage of this workstation is its upgrade flexibility. The P50 supports up to 64GB of RAM across four slots and can house up to three drives in total — two M.2 SSDs plus one 2.5” bay — making it a system that can easily scale with future needs.
This laptop will come with a fresh installation of Windows 10 Professional along with a fully licensed Microsoft Office Professional Plus (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access etc.). As an added bonus, I’m including a Lenovo 40A5 docking station for expanded connectivity, along with the official 170W Lenovo power adapter.
